1. How did you come to be?…basically, your origin as a performer.
I started my career a class clown, took time off to raise a family and then in my fifties started doing standup comedy, taking a course in acting and taking the plunge.

2. How long have you been doing it?
I have been an actor for about 25 years.

3. What kind of services do you offer?  I mean, I know what you do, but could you give me a range of where you perform and what kind of events hire you?
I do film, television, voice acting and am a George Burns Tribute artist.  I perform all over the country.  I do private parties, senior communities, Jewish clubs and bring my act to Performing Art Centers.

Two years ago I hooked up with the talented Lynn Roberts and we do a show called “George Burns and Friends”.  He does Hope, Benny, Durante, and Skelton.  The show consists of two 45 minute acts or we can do it straight through in 90 minutes. We have been performing all over the country.

4. What should a client look for when hiring you?
My clients get a show consisting of clean humor and song from a reliable individual.

5. What are some things you look for in a client?
Honesty.  I look for someone who is , accommodating,  and easy to get along with.

6. How do handle a situation with an unresponsive audience?
I give every audience 100%.  The best way to get them to respond is to get them involved with the show.  I use audience participation as part of my act.

7. What’s the best part of your job?
Having a responsive audience who appreciates good clean comedy and nostalgic music.

the worst?
Down time traveling.

8. What would you say to someone interested in doing what you’re doing?
If you want to be a tribute artist learn everything about your character and approach the character from an actor’s perspective not as an imitator.

9. What’s your favorite story about an event at which you entertained?
After performing at Century Village in Florida I got and email from a lady who said I brought tears to her eyes.  No, I wasn’t that bad.  She was George Burns’ niece.  It was then that I knew I had the character down.
